St Helens Women's trip to Warrington Wolves on Sunday at the Halliwell Jones Stadium will be shown live on The Sportsman!
There’s more Betfred Women’s Super League action on The Sportsman this weekend, with Warrington Wolves taking on St Helens at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sunday at 2pm.
It will be the second half of a double date for the Saints against their local rivals, following on from Friday night’s big clash in the Betfred Super League.
Matty Smith’s team have been in impressive form, consolidating their position just behind BWSL leaders York Valkyrie with a 66-0 win against Huddersfield Giants, with Emily Rudge, Chantelle Crowl, Shona Hoyle and Luci McColm each scoring two tries.
And they are also building towards the latest, and toughest, match in their defence of the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup, as they face the Valkyrie in the Semi Finals at the Halliwell Jones Stadium later this month.
The Wolves will be keen to bounce back from a heavy home defeat against Leeds Rhinos, as they again have home advantage at the Halliwell Jones.
Former Saints and, briefly, Warrington prop Kyle Amor will be part of commentary team, with coverage on The Sportsman’s dedicated Rugby League YouTube channel.
