HOME SEMI-FINAL UP FOR GRABS

The Red V are aiming to secure a win and with it a top two spot in the table and a vitally important home semi-final with just two rounds of the regular season remaining. Both Saints and Leeds will be in the post-season semi-finals following York claiming the League Leaders Shield and top spot – but both 1st and 2nd in the table will get the advantage of playing their semi-finals at their home ground.

SAINTS VS LEEDS 2023: CHAPTER 3

Sunday’s game will mark the third time in 2023 that the Red V and the Rhinos have met. Back in May Smith’s Women comfortably defeated Lois Forsell’s side at Headingley 18-38, and then of course the historic Wembley victory in August to retain the Challenge Cup for a third straight year and become the first Women’s Rugby League side to win at the national stadium.

THREE LEAGUE WINS ON THE SPIN?

The Saints have won their last two league games; dominating Huddersfield Giants 0-68 away last time out, and professionally going past Wigan Warriors also away ahead of the visit to Wembley.

THE RECORD AGAINST LEEDS

Extra motivation will not be needed, but the Saints will also be chasing their first victory over Leeds on home soil since 2018.
