This Saturday (30th September), one of St.Helens' greatest ever players will play the final home match of his storied career in the famous 'Red V', with a Semi-Final spot on the line.
The Saints host Warrington Wolves in an Eliminator Play-Off game at the Totally Wicked Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 12:45pm.
Paul Wellens’ men finished the regular season joint top of the table on league points with Wigan and Catalans but just edged out to third place on points difference. It means that whilst the Warriors and the Dragons get a week off and a home Semi-Final in the second week of the Play-Offs. St.Helens have earned a home Play-Off Eliminator then against the team who came sixth, Warrington, and should Saints win they will go to Catalans to be 80 minutes from Old Trafford.
Saturday’s fixture will be the final time Saints supporters will see at our home ground, our Club Captain and all-time Saints appearance record holder, James Roby in match action.
2023 is Roby’s final season as a player, and he will bring the curtain down on a 20-year career whenever the current campaign ends for the Saints. For all involved at the Club, players, staff and fans alike – all hope it will be at Old Trafford as St.Helens go for a fifth Super League title in a row.
Roby has proudly represented our team and town, earning six Super League titles, eight League Leaders’ Shields, four Challenge Cups, and two World Club Challenges. James Roby truly is The Greatest Of All Time.

Ticket prices are the same for a standard Betfred Super League match with 2023 Members getting £5 off the standard ticket price.
2023 Members have until Wednesday at mid-day to secure their reserved seat or place before they are released to General Sale.
Purchasing your reserved seat
With the short turnaround we strongly advise fans to purchase via our online Ticketmaster solution here and to select Print@Home option when completing your booking.
If you’re booking solely contains you or your connections reserved seats, you will be offered the “Add access to card” delivery method. This means that you will be able to use 2023 Membership Card for the fixture and will not require any additional tickets.
If your booking contains both your reserved seat and you are purchasing on behalf of a non-member you will NOT be offered the “add access to card” delivery method. Instead, you can use Print@Home, Collection, First Class Post and Special Delivery options to complete your purchase.
