Rugby League Commercial and IMG have today revealed the provisional illustrative grades for professional rugby league clubs, and St.Helens has received the highest rated grade of ‘A’.
Membership in the Betfred Super League competition in 2025 will be determined by the top twelve teams in the 2024 grading rankings, which will be announced at the culmination of the 2024 season.
Today’s illustrative grading announcement comes on the back of a process that has been running throughout 2023.
Grading was one of seven recommendations that were presented to Rugby League last autumn as part of IMG’s re-imagining of the sport, which you can read more about here.
