St.Helens will commence the 2024 Betfred Super League season at the Totally Wicked Stadium against the newly promoted London Broncos!
Our home opener against the capital club on Friday, 16th February 2024 kicks off at 8pm and will be the first meeting between the two clubs since the 2019 season when London were last in the top-flight competition.
Mike Eccles’ men earned a stunning promotion from the Championship after finishing the season in fifth place and winning three knock-out play-off games, the last of which was the Championship Grand Final against Toulouse in France.
2023 was a strong season for Paul Wellens’ men which started by winning the World Club Challenge, Saints also finished third in the regular season being just edged out of first and second on points difference alone. Narrow losses in the Challenge Cup and Super League semi-finals will make the team even hungrier to do better this year and secure more silverware for the Club.
It has also been revealed the Red V’s first fixture on the road in the new campaign will be against Huddersfield Giants at the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday, 24th February with a 5:30pm kick-off.
Super League has also announced the fixtures for Rivals Round, with the Saints this year hosting ‘The Biggest Derby In Rugby League’ against old foes Wigan Warriors on Good Friday, 29th March at the Totally Wicked Stadium at 3pm.
St.Helens’ full Super League fixture list will be released at 8:30am on Thursday (23rd November).
