Academy Head Coach Derek Traynor offers his insight into the importance of the cold and wet rainy nights at the Saints’ training facility at Cowley International College.
Across all areas of the facility on a typical weekday evening, members of all three of our men’s youth sides work on various aspects of their game or fitness. That’s before even including the off-field provisions and development in the classroom.
Traynor is assisted by the likes of Gary Wheeler, who details how the Under 16s Scholarship players can look to the session that the Under 18s Academy youngsters and see that natural progression and what it may take to get to that next stage.
