Following a big performance away from home against Huddersfield, we caught up with Morgan Knowles after his first game of 2024 in round two.
In a game where the scoreline only really started to show for us in the latter stages, it was a tough, physical game through the middle of the park, and Morgan said he felt that through the full game, but he was happy with his first run out of the year.
He went on to say though that there is still improvement in this team, and we’re only just getting going this year. It’s early on yet, and as the weeks go on we’ll see more and more from this side.
With the acquisitions of Matt Whitley, Daryl Clark, and Waqa Blake in the off season, there is competition for places all over the pitch this year, and that can only help the side, Morgan added.
After being sang home by more than 1,350 fans that had travelled down to support the team, Morgan said that they really do give the side a massive boost.
