Head Coach Paul Wellens has named his 21-man St.Helens squad for this Friday's home match against Leigh Leopards, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
The Saints take on the 2023 Challenge Cup winners in Round Three of Betfred Super League 2024, with the aim of keeping the winning start to the new season going.
Our Red V sit at the top of the early league table following a big 40-4 home win over London Broncos on the opening night of the campaign, followed by last Saturday’s professional performance away at Huddersfield Giants, keeping the West Yorkshire club to nil and posting 28 points of our own.

Wellens has made two changes to the team that was announced for the win over Huddersfield and they see Matty Lees and Tee Ritson come out of the 21-man squad. On the back of some illness which had gone through the camp, Lees copped a hit to the chest which resulted in him going to the hospital last Saturday evening, but he is home and recovering well but will not be up for selection this week.
Into the squad comes Konrad Hurrell and Noah Stephens; Hurrell missed out last week due to catching the illness bug just ahead of last Saturday but he is now back and available for selection. Meanwhile, Noah Stephens has been named for the first time in the senior 21-man declaration and if selected on Friday night would make his official senior debut!
Stephens is one of our five Saints Academy graduates who stepped up into the First Team on the back of securing the 2023 Under 18s Academy Championship last Autumn.
