Ahead of St. Helens Women's pre-season clash with the Giants tomorrow, here are more of the details you'll need to know before the game!
Venue
Saints will travel to Huddersfield Laund Hill for their pre-season clash with the Giants on Sunday afternoon, with a 12pm kick off. It will be the only chance to catch Saints Women first team in pre-season action during the 2024 season.
Ticket Information
Tickets are pay on the gate at Huddersfield Laund Hill. It will cost £5 for adults and £1 for u16’s to enter the venue and watch Saints’ first run out of 2024!
Squad News
Both squads have been named for the game tomorrow afternoon.
Matty Smith has opted to rest the vast majority of his England Internationals, but its still a strong Saints squad heading over to West Yorkshire, with seven academy products included alongside some first team regulars.
Emily Baggaley will have her first run out in a Saints shirt, with Grace Arrowsmith and Erin McDonald both also named in the squad.

Huddersfield have had a busy off-season. The Giants have signed Grace Ramsden and Kacy Haley from Warrington Wolves, whilst also signing multiple from Bradford including the likes of Alice Fisher. Sam Hulme, who faced Saints in last years Betfred Challenge Cup Final at Wembley, also made the move to the Giants. at the end of 2023.
Several Castleford Tigers also made the move over to Huddersfield.
Lori Halloran will once again lead the side in 2024, despite a disappointing 2023, Sunday’s opposition will be looking ahead to the new season, with a fresh look squad.
Standout Winger, Amelia Brown, is staying with Huddersfield in 2024, after an impressive year in 2023 which included a two-try performance in their win at Headingley.
