With the Saints Community Development Foundation (SCDF), all 32 of St.Helens R.F.C.'s First Team have been out visiting local schools in our region encouraging the importance of reading in the week of World Book Day 2024!

Players Joe Batchelor and Agnatius Paasi were joined by the Red V’s Leadership, Culture & Performance Coach on World Book Day itself – Thursday, 7th March – at Allanson Street Primary School!
The SCDF has a mission to work with our primary schools in the community and it has been inspiring to have every one of our senior squad members go and into classes to share their favourite stories and books, and encourage children to read as it has so many benefits.
The players have also been reading along and narrating stories with individual classes’ books they have been reading in the classroom in anticipation of World Book Day.
