Saints Women’s trip to Bradford cancelled

St.Helens Women's scheduled trip to Bartercard Odsal Stadium to face Bradford Bulls tomorrow will not go ahead as planned...

Bradford are unable to fulfil the fixture due to injuries, meaning Saints will be awarded a 0-48 victory and all but sealing our progression to the Quarter-Finals of this years competition.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to fans who had already planned to be at tomorrow’s game in West Yorkshire.

Head Coach Matty Smith: “Obviously disappointed that the game is not going ahead now. We had prepared well for the game this weekend and was looking forward to getting to visit Odsal on Saturday.

“We now have to look ahead to our last Group Stage game against Warrington in April, with two weeks now to prepare for that game which looks like it could be winner tops the group.”

Saints defeated London Broncos 64-0 at Cowley Playing Fields last Saturday to open their 2024 season. Due to the late cancellation, our second game of the season will now take place on Sunday 7th April 2024 at Victoria Park against Warrington Wolves, with kick off set for 12pm.

Saints’ first home game of the season will see the Red V welcome Huddersfield Giants to the Totally Wicked Stadium in the Betfred Women’s Super League on Sunday 28th April 2024. You can purchase tickets online for that game here

There is also time to get involved in sponsorship with Saints this season. Both Player and Kit Sponsorships remain available and you can find out more information below.
