For the first time this season our Reserves side will walk out at our home ground, The Totally Wicked Stadium!
With more than 1,100 Saints fans travelling over to France, we’re sure to have a bumper crowd to cheer on our First Team away from home as we look to return to the top of the early Betfred Super League table.
However, we know not every Saints fan will be able to make that trip, so if you need your fix of live rugby league this Saturday, or something to whet the appetite ahead of our Catalans clash live on BBC Three, Sky Sports or SuperLeague+, why not head down and cheer on our reserves at the Totally Wicked Stadium!
After a brilliant start for the reserves in an opening 64-14 victory over the Salford Red Devils, a home loss to Leeds last time out means we’re looking for a better performance against Wakefield, and your support can only lift Derek Hardman’s Saints.
With the 21-man first-team squad having already travelled to France, some First Team players could feature in this Resereves game such as; Waqa Blake, Sam Royle, Ben Lane, McKenzie Buckley, Dayon Sambou, Will Roberts, Jonny Vaughn, and Leon Cowen. All could be in contention to play on Saturday morning for Derek Hardman’s reserves outfit.
Wakefield will come into the game off the back of an away loss at the hands of the Warrington Wolves, and so will be vying to pick up their first points of the season in what is sure to be a hotly contested affair with both teams looking to bounce back.
