Matty Smith has named his 21-woman squad for Saturday's Quarter-Final clash with Huddersfield Giants at Crusader Park!
Saints will host Huddersfield Giants at Thatto Heath Crusaders’, Crusader Park on Saturday afternoon. Kick off is at 12pm and entry for the fixture is free, but donations towards the hosting club will be appreciated, with buckets around the ground.
Saints secured top spot in Group Three with a dominant 6-58 victory over Warrington Wolves on Sunday, with their other Group Stage victories coming against Bradford Bulls (0-48 via forfeit) and London Broncos (64-0).
Vicky Whitfield appears in Matty Smith’s squad for the first time this season, having been ruled out of the opening few games after having knee surgery. Fellow England International Paige Travis also returns to the squad. They replace Emily Rudge and Hannah Roberts from our 21 from last weekend.
Saints clashed with the Giants during pre-season, with the two sides drawing 16-16 at Huddersfield Laund Hill. The two sides will clash again two weeks on Sunday in the Betfred Women’s Super League. Tickets for that one are on sale here
