St.Helens Head Coach Paul Wellens has announced his 21-man squad for this Friday's home fixture against Hull FC!
The Saints take on the Black & Whites in Round Eight of Betfred Super League 2024, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
Heading into this week in the the league, the Red V sit in fifth position but level on points with three other sides with points difference separating them.
Following this past Sunday’s exit from the Challenge Cup, the Saints’ players will be highly motivated to shake off the loss, right a few wrongs and put in a more positive performance for both themselves and our supporters.
Wellens makes three changes to the last squad that was declared with; Mark Percival back available for selection following head injury protocols, Matty Lees returns too after serving a two-match suspension, and Sam Royle also steps into the 21-man side as well.
Alex Walmsley misses out with a hamstring issue picked up from Sunday’s fixture, whilst Jake Burns and Tee Ritson also step out of the squad for this match.
Paul Wellens will be speaking the media at his weekly press conference later on this afternoon (Wednesday 17th April), which will be available to watch in full on Saints TV.
