Following a tough loss last time out against the Warrington Wolves, we caught up with George Delaney as we look to bounce back from a couple of poor results.
George said the performance in that game wasn’t us, and it’s an even bigger disappointment it being the Challenge Cup, but we know we have to respond to the last couple of week and put in a good performance.
With Hull going through a rough period at the moment, George knows they will still be a tough challenge as they will be wanting to right a few wrongs this year, and that makes them unpredictable. However, we’re also going into this looking for an improved performance, which is sure to make this one a good contest.
At just 20 years of age, George is a young member of the squad, but as he has for his whole Saints career, he is playing like a seasoned professional. He isn’t looking past the next game though, and knows that there is competition for places across the team, saying he’s just happy whenever he can get some game time.
