The Valkyrie
The two sides met three times in 2023. The Valkyrie won both league meetings, on their way to the Betfred Women’s Super League title, whilst Saints won the Challenge Cup encounter on their way to winning that crown.
Sunday’s opposition have won all three of their games so far in 2024, all in the Betfred Challenge Cup. A 10-74 victory at Sheffield was followed by an 80-6 victory over Featherstone, before the beat the same opposition 70-0 last weekend.
Saints will also face former winger Eboni Partington for the first time since she departed the club to join York during the off-season.
