St.Helens will look to shake off a defeat in the last round when we travel to The Mend-A-Hose Jungle to take on Castleford Tigers in Round 11 of Betfred Super League this coming Friday night (10th May).
It’s back-to-back away days for the Saints, after last Saturday’s visit to Hull KR with ended with a disappointing loss to the in-form Robins. Paul Wellens’ squad will be highly motivated to put in a solid performance against the Tigers and secure the league points in what is an incredibly tight race at the top of the league table.
All six sides in the top half of the Super League ladder after Round 10 hold 14 points but are separated by points difference, with the Red V moving from top spot to third following the latest fixtures.
The Saints faced Castleford three times last season, winning all three meetings, two of which were at The Jungle and one at our home the Totally Wicked Stadium. We currently hold a four-match winning run in the head-to-head meetings with Castleford.
The Tigers are in the bottom end of the competition this season but have been going through stages of a re-build under Craig Lingard, with a number of players coming in and leaving, and in recent weeks they have shown a fighting spirit which will make them a tough challenge on Friday night at their ground.

St Helens have been allocated standing tickets in the Railway End as The Mend-A-Hose Jungle. It is advised to purchase tickets in advance to save a bit of money, as prices increase on matchday.

Tickets can be purchased online here now, via the Ticket Office or over the phone on 01744 455052. Saints’ tickets sold through the Club will be coming off sale at: 12pm on Thursday, 9th May.
Junior Members can access £5 tickets for all away games, subject to availability (2024 Members will need to login to purchase)
Under 5’s are free in the standing areas but £5 in the North Stand but a ticket must be provided via the Ticket Office.
Travel Information
Travel is priced at £17 for 2024 Members and £18 for Non-Members, the bus will depart the Totally Wicked Stadium at 5pm on Friday, 10th May.
Please be aware that alcohol is not permitted on any of our club coaches which are stewarded. Any foul and abusive language or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated on our coaches.
