St.Helens Women's Captain Jodie Cunningham discusses the upcoming Betfred Women's Challenge Cup Semi-Final showdown against York Valkyrie on Saturday morning.
The Red V head to Doncaster’s Eco-Power Stadium for an early kick-off and a chance to book our spot at Wembley Stadium for the Women’s Challenge Cup Final.
After getting the job done over York last year at this stage to go to the big dance, Cunningham recalls that incredible match and her own desire to do the job over Valkyrie again – however our #13 knows it will be a tough task against a very strong side.
York just edged a win over Saints in the opening round of the league in the middle of April, but Cunningham insists that lessons have been learnt from the opening forty against them.
The Skipper also issues a rallying call to our Saints supporters to get to Doncaster for the match, and those in attendance to make plenty of noise to bring the girls home hopefully to another final.
