On Friday night it’s the second Double Header in as many weeks for our First Team and Women’s team both in action, then on Saturday over at Thatto Heath our Reserves host Bradford Bulls!
In case you missed it too, it has been confirmed that the First Team will be wearing our 24 Away Kit for Friday night’s Betfred Super League clash.

FRIDAY
Women vs Wigan Warriors (H)
Matty Smith’s Women’s side will be just over a week away from Wembley Stadium and the Challenge Cup Final, but league matters need to be handled first and it’s a big one: The Derby!
The high-flying Warriors have four wins from four in the Women’s Super League and have begun life under Denis Betts well, so the Saints are in for a very tough task as Wigan will look to prove their credentials as one of the main contenders in 2024.
Last time out the Saints Women got the job done over Leeds Rhinos last Friday night, 12-6, who they will face at the national stadium next Saturday.
Please note the earlier time of the Women’s Derby Day clash, which is fifteen minutes earlier than last week’s WSL fixture.

First Team vs Catalans Dragons (H)
Paul Wellens’ men will face the French side and looking to build on the last two rounds of impressive performances, and get a small slice of revenge against a side who narrowly defeated us.
Down on front-line forwards due to injuries, the Saints come up against arguably the biggest and most physical pack in the Super League – so it should make for an enthralling affair as the Saints seek to consolidate their place at the top of the table.
The French side are smarting after suffering a loss at home to Warrington last weekend.

SATURDAY
Reserves vs Bradford Bulls (H) [Thatto Heath]
Derek Hardman’s Reserves side are on a run of three victories, looking to extend that to four when they host the Bulls at Crusader Park.
Our young guns secured a close win over Castleford Tigers at The Jungle a fortnight ago, with the Tigers putting in ten of their senior First Team squad however we as the visitors made sure to go home with all the spoils.
That result on the back of close battles against Hull FC and Wakefield Trinity should give the Red V plenty of confidence to do well against the Bulls this Saturday.
