St.Helens R.F.C. will be closing for business to allow all of our staff to attend the funeral of our longest full-time serving member of staff, Christine Hesketh.
Christine was beloved member of our community, and she will have been the welcoming face and voice to thousands of St.Helens supporters over the years who have come to get their match tickets or merchandise.
Adored by all staff at the Club, hundreds of our players over the years, and an unfathomable number of Saints supporters who she has assisted across many roles, Christine will be greatly missed and her impact and loyalty will always be remembered.
Funeral Details
Christine’s funeral will take place on Tuesday, 4th June at 10:15am at St Teresa’s Church, Devon Street, St Helens.
On the way to the church, cars will drive to the home of the Saints, the Totally Wicked Stadium, and will pause for a moment at approximately 9:50am.
Following the church service, the funeral procession will attend the Crematorium, St Helens before a reception being held at the Totally Wicked Stadium to celebrate Christine’s life.
Family flowers only are requested, and any donations that wish to be made are asked by the family to please be donated towards the Guide Dogs charity – a cause very close to Christine’s heart.
