In the culmination of a Challenge cup run that saw us concede just one try in the run up to the final, we would face a team we had in the previous two finals in the Leeds Rhinos, so we knew how difficult a game this was going to be.
The Rhinos came into the game off the back of a 68 point victory over the Barrow Raiders, and loss to us the week prior to that, so they would be hurting and want to get that win back of the biggest stage.
We went into the game off the back of that win over the Rhinos, and a home derby victory over the Wigan Warriors and were high on confidence going in, knowing we could make history and with the cup for a fourth consecutive year.
