St,Helens Head Coach Paul Wellens has named his 21-man squad for this Sunday’s away game against London Broncos which is being played at Twickenham Stoop Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.
The Red V and the Broncos will bring the curtain down on Round 14 of Betfred Super League as the competition reaches its halfway point in the 2024 season. The table is tight at the top but heading into this week’s fixture St.Helens holds the top spot through points difference over Wigan, however, the Warriors do have a game in hand to play.
The chasing pack is also tight with Hull KR and Warrington just two points off first and second, while Catalans and Salford are just four points off.
After wins in the last three rounds over Catalans, Leeds and Castleford, the Saints will be fighting to keep that good run rolling, and hold their place at the top of the table but face a tough task. Whilst London’s league position is currently at the bottom of the ladder, they have shown a lot of spirit and will be highly motivated as they return to their former home ground Twickenham Stoop for the first time in more than a decade.
Well over 1,000 Saints faithful supporters are making the big trip down to the capital to cheer on our team! Fancy joining us at The Stoop? The full away day ticketing details can be found by clicking here!

Wellens makes just one change to the side that was declared for the Round 13 victory over Catalans Dragons with Leon Cowen stepping out of the 21-man squad. For the first time Saints Academy player Harry Robertson is named after stepping up into the First Team training environment in recent weeks!
Robertson has been with St.Helens since he was fourteen joining our Scholarship programme from community club Halton Farnworth Hornets. Harry progressed into the Saints Academy and was part of our 2023 Academy Championship-winning side, also earning selection to represent both Lancashire and England. His development has continued with appearances for the Saints Reserves both last and this season.
It’s been a good week for the young halfback who last Friday night scored an astonishing seven tries against Huddersfield Giants, and on Wednesday he was selected to be part of the England Academy team to take on France at the start of July. Robertson has been issued the First Team squad number #33 for 2024 following his inclusion in this latest 21-man squad announcement.
