After a week off from action Paul Wellens’ Saints are excited and ready to head to the capital as the 2024 season reaches its halfway point.
St.Helens are on a three-match winning run and will be looking to keep that going. The run began in May with a dominant away day victory over Castleford Tigers, 4-60. Leeds were also put to the sword by the Red V in a 40-10 performance, and most recently in our final home game until July the Saints beat Catalans Dragons 24-12.
Wellens’ Saints are taking on a motivated London outfit who have also had a week off and have plenty of factors to help motivate them. Super League’s bottom side currently, the Broncos are on the hunt for their second win of the season, and playing at their old home for the first time in more than a decade – The Stoop – they will be eager to put on a show and get a result.
The Broncos also have the chance to get a little bit of revenge after losing to St.Helens on the opening night of the 2024 campaign.
