A dominant Saints performance saw Paul Wellens men win 6-52 at The Stoop, the former home of the London Broncos who played their first match at what many of their fans believe is their spiritual home for over a decade.
The emotion of London’s return did not deter the Saints though who ran in nine tries in a professional performance to regain the top spot in the Betfred Super League table.
Daryl Clark was one of our star performers grabbing a hat-trick of tries in seven minutes during the second half. It was a sweet moment for our #9 who had the Saints faithful singing about him all afternoon long to the tune of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Dancing In The Dark’. Anyone else had that as an earworm in their head today…?
