St.Helens R.F.C. and Moses Mbye have been unsuccessful in an appeal against a one-match penalty notice.
Mbye was issued a Grade B ‘Dangerous Contact’ charge on Monday (8th July) by the Match Review Panel following the Saints’ Round 16 Betfred Super League fixture against Castleford Tigers.
The Club appealed the charge on Tuesday night (9th July) with the Operational Rules Tribunal.
The appeal was unsuccessful meaning that the penalty notice was upheld and as a result Mbye will be unavailable for selection for this Friday night’s away match against Wigan Warriors.
