The big games keep coming, St.Helens will welcome Warrington Wolves on Friday, 20th July to the Totally Wicked Stadium!
It will be Round 18 of Betfred Super League 2024, and the first league meeting between the two local foes in 2024.
The Saints are doing it tough on the injury front, but Paul Wellens’ team showed exactly the sort of effort that is expected and demanded by this Club in the last round against the league leaders Wigan.
On a run of three defeats, all narrow and tight by four points or less, the Red V return home highly motivated to get back to winning ways, give our loyal supporters a strong performance, and get a small bit of revenge back over the team that knocked Saints out of the Challenge Cup earlier in the year.
Warrington managed to get a home win over Leeds Rhinos in Round 17, a result that leapfrogged them over Saints into second place in the league. Both sides have ambitions to high in the table, and with the competition in the top six tightening up, this is an important fixture for both clubs.
