St.Helens First Team players Jonny Lomax and Mark Percival have been issued charges by the Rugby Football League's Match Review Panel following last Friday night's Betfred Super League match against Leigh Leopards.
Saints centre Mark Percival was shown a yellow card in the 15th minute of the away game against Leigh and has now been issued a one-match penalty notice for a Grade B ‘Head Contact’ offence.
As a result of that, Percival will be unavailable for St.Helens’ upcoming away match against Hull FC on Saturday, 3rd August.
The Saints’ #6 Jonny Lomax also received a yellow card in the Round 19 match against the Leopards in the 53rd minute, and has now been issued a Grade E ‘Head Contact’ charge and referred to the Operational Rules Tribunal. It is expected that Lomax will appear before the ORT on Tuesday evening, after which the Club and the RFL will confirm the tribunal’s decision.
