Dani and Sam both picked up their first Try of the Month awards in July!
With just his second try in the red vee, Sam Royle’s try against Warrington was voted as your July Try of the Month!
In a tough game for the Saints, Sam got a try that looked like it could swing the balance of the game, but ultimately, we would come up short. The ball went all the way across the field through the hands, landing with Noah Stephens, who threw a long pass out to Sam Royle hitting a great line to go through and touch down.
Congratulations though Sam, and well done!
In what was just her first game of 2024, her fifth appearance in the red vee, and with her second career try, Dani Mcgifford picks up the July Try of the Month award!
Up against the Warrington wolves, the ball went from the middle of the pitch through Jodie Cunningham and onto Emily Rudge who bumped a tackler, and gave the ball away to Dani, who raced away down the wing, turning back inside and breaking through a tackle on her way to touch down.
