St.Helens' trip to the John Smiths Stadium to take on Huddersfield Giants on Sunday, 1st September 2024 will now kick-off five minutes later than originally scheduled after being selected for broadcast on BBC Two.
The Round 24 match between the Giants and the Saints will see the Red V looking to consolidate our place in the top six section of the Betfred Super League table.
Whilst battling a whole host of injuries to senior players, St.Helens will look to earn a third win over the Giants in the 2024 campaign. Back in February in the Saints’ first away fixture of the year, Paul Wellens’ men put in a professional performance to best the Giants at the John Smiths Stadium and ran out 0-28 victors. Then in April in a tight contest Jonny Lomax kicked a game-winning drop goal in the final minute of time to get a home win at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
Luke Robinson is currently Interim Head Coach of Huddersfield following the departure of Ian Watson earlier in the summer, and the Giants have had an improvement of form including a Magic WKND win over Castleford at Elland Road.
Over 1,200 Saints supporters made the trip back in February, and we’re excited to see our fans fill out that away end in Huddersfield to start September!
Fans can make even more of their visit to West Yorkshire too as our Women’s team are taking on Huddersfield Giants at Laund Hill on the same day, with kick-off at that game 12pm (noon).
Rugby League Commercial has also confirmed that broadcast details for Betfred Super League Round 25, 26 and 27 will be confirmed in the coming weeks, with BBC Sport to also provide live coverage of two matches from the Play-Offs as part of the three-year broadcast partnership from 2024-2026.

St.Helens have been given unreserved seated tickets in the Magic Rock Brewing South Stand of the John Smith Stadium with tickets located in Blocks S5 & S6.
On our last visit to the home of the Giants’ back in February saw over 1,200 Saints supporters go along to cheer on the team! The Club hopes that we will see, as we have all season, a fantastic number of travelling fans coming along to cheer on our team.

Please note that for this fixture all tickets will be print-at-home. We advise fans to print off your print-at-home tickets in advance, alternatively if you do not have a printer you can save the .pdf to your mobile and show the QR code at the turnstiles.
Once purchased online or in store at the clubs ticket office you will receive your tickets via email. You can then present your print-at-home ticket at the turnstiles of the John Smith Stadium to gain entry.

Official Club Coach Travel is available online here priced at £17 for non-Members and £16 for 2024 Saints Members, with departure at 12:30pm from the Totally Wicked Stadium on gameday.
