Tommy Makinson has been issued a three-match penalty notice by The RFL's Match Review Panel following last Saturday afternoon's Betfred Super League match against Hull KR.
The St.Helens winger was shown a red card following a high tackle in the 74th minute of the Round 23 fixture, and he has now been charged by the Match Review Panel with a Grade D ‘Head Contact’ charge.
Makinson has also been fined £250.
As a result of the penalty notice, Makinson will be unavailable for the Saints’ next three fixture which are Huddersfield Giants away this Sunday, Warrington Wolves away, and our final home match of the regular Super League season against Castleford Tigers.
