Three matches, two of them away against Huddersfield, and one home game at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
Saturday afternoon at our home, our Under 18s have their final match of the regular season, then on Sunday our Women’s and First Team are both in West Yorkshire taking on Huddersfield Giants.

SATURDAY
Academy vs Wakefield Trinity (H)
Sat at the top of the Academy Championship table with one match remaining in the regular season, our St.Helens Under 18s will welcome Wakefield Trinity to the Totally Wicked Stadium.
The Saints a fortnight ago got an important 18-32 win over Wigan Warriors away to open a two-point gap in first place, with a significantly better points difference over our local foes.
Derek Traynor’s Academy Saints are currently on a seven-match winning run which stretches back to April, so to head into the play-offs with eight wins and as the league leaders will be the aim on Saturday afternoon.

SUNDAY
Women vs Huddersfield Giants (A)
After three weeks our Saints Women return to action! After a busy period which saw the Red V get two wins in four days over York and Barrow, last time out Matty Smith’s side comfortably beat Featherstone Rovers at home 56-6.
Our Women are on a twelve-match winning run across all competitions and sit atop the Betfred Women’s Super League with a two-point gap. There are three matches to go in the race for the League Leaders’ Shield and the start of the play-offs, so every performance and every result is important.
Huddersfield sit sixth in the table, level on points with Barrow and Warrington who are in 5th and 7th respectively. The Saints have beaten the Giants Women twice in the 2024 season so far, firstly 74-0 in the Challenge Cup quarter-final, and then 60-6 in our home league meeting – both matches were played in April.

First Team vs Huddersfield Giants (A)
The Saints are smarting after a heavy home loss to Hull KR on Saturday afternoon, and will be looking to bounce back and get an important victory in the race for the play-off positions. Currently in fifth place, the Red V need league points to ensure our place in the post-regular-season mix.
Continuing to do it tough on the injury front, Paul Wellens’ men have been blooding in some of our younger players over the past couple of months, including a memorable debut day for George Whitby last time out. Together, our team will go for a third win over Huddersfield in 2024.
Back in February in the Saints’ first away fixture of the year, Saints put in a professional performance to best the Giants at the John Smiths Stadium and ran out 0-28 victors. Then in April in a tight contest Jonny Lomax kicked a game-winning drop goal in the final minute of time to get a home win at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
