Three Saints teams have matches this week, two in Semi-Finals action, and one finishing the regular season. It's a big week ahead!
We start the week off with a bang, Monday night Academy action at our home ground for a spot in the Grand Final.
At the weekend, Friday night kicks it all off with the First Team on the road against Leigh Leopards, followed by the Saints Women welcoming Wigan to the Totally Wicked Stadium on Sunday in a Semi-Final!

MONDAY
Academy vs Hull FC (H) – Semi-Final
After finishing top of the table following the twelve round regular season, the Saints Academy will host fourth-placed Hull FC in the Semi-Final for a second successive season. It marked the third year in a row that our Under 18s team topped the table!
A win over Wakefield Trinity in the final regular season round was needed to confirm first place, and a comfortable victory by 40-12 did just that and earned the home advantage just over a fortnight ago.
Traynor’s young Saints went away to Hull FC during August and came away 18-30 victors, and the Black & Whites made the journey west to face our club at this stage of the season last year too – which the Red V won 28-8.

FRIDAY
St.Helens go to the home of the Leopards on the back of a strong home victory over Castleford with a number of our senior men returning to action following injuries too. Further motivation is that the Red V will also be out to right a number of wrongs from our previous visit to the Leigh Sports Village which saw a depleted Saints fall to a heavy away defeat in July.
St.Helens will be aiming for a second win over the Leythers in the 2024 season, after besting them 12-4 at the Totally Wicked Stadium back in March.
Over 1,200 of our supporters went to the Leigh Sports Village for our first visit to the Leopards’ Den this summer, and we hope to see that away section packed out once more as we head towards the business end of the Super League season!

SUNDAY
A Betfred Women’s Super League Grand Final place will be up for grabs as St.Helens Women take on Wigan Warriors Women!
After finishing the 2024 regular season top of the table and earning the 2024 League Leaders’ Shield, St.Helens have the home-field advantage for The Derby. Lifting the Shield last Friday night at home, the Red V finished the league period of the campaign with 13 victories from the 14 rounds.
If Matty Smith’s Saints are successful in the Semi-Final, they will host the Grand Final as the highest ranked finalist, with kick-off for the big finale scheduled for 4:30pm on Sunday, 6th October 2024.
