The Warriors
Wigan have enjoyed an improved season, under their first year Head Coach, Denis Betts. Our rivals were crowned winners of the Nines Tournament earlier on in the year, after a dominant day for the Cherry and Whites over in Hull.
They were forced to settle for fourth place in the league though, winning nine of their fourteen league games in 2024, which included an impressive win at York.
Saints did the double over the Warriors during the regular season, winning the first game 22-8 in May, before a hard fought 12-16 win at the Brick Community Stadium in July, live on Sky Sports.
