After what ultimately was a disappointing night, Jonny Lomax spoke to us about the game and what it means for the rest of our season.
Jonny said that we would have loved to have had another home game but this result doesn’t change the road, we still have three games to play we just don’t have that home fixture, but the level of support we had tonight was fantastic, and he hopes that will be there next week, depending on results.
With the away end sold out in Leigh, Jonny paid more credit to the travelling support as the noise they generated was fantastic. Despite the result, Jonny said the players felt the love at the end of the game, and while we don’t often get the chance to say it, it is very much appreciated.
With an away eliminator likely on the cards depending on results, Jonny said he cant wait to see you all there next week, and we would be massively grateful for your support.
