St. Helens Women are in Grand Final this weekend at the Totally Wicked Stadium, as they host York Valkyrie!
In their final fixture of the 2024 season, Saints will feature in their second ever Betfred Women’s Super League Grand Final on Sunday, with it being at home after the Red V finished top of the league during the regular season.
Matty Smith’s side are still in the hunt for a treble, and could become the second side to do it during the BWSL era, following Derek Hardman’s Saints side in 2021.
Saints have won their last sixteen games in all competitions ahead of the final, with two trophies alongside that run in the form of the Betfred Challenge Cup and the League Leaders’ Shield.
Saints proved dominant in the Betfred Challenge Cup, as they won the competition for the fourth consecutive season, their second in a row at Wembley, beating Leeds Rhinos 0-22 in the final.
The Red V have also won 13 of their 14 league games in 2024, with their only defeat coming in round one at York, as they dominated the Betfred Women’s Super League.
With just one win between them and a treble, Saints will need all of our fans to get behind the girls at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Sunday evening!
