St.Helens and England captain Jodie Cunningham heads up a contingent of six Saints who are set to face Wales on Saturday in an international clash.
England Women versus Wales Women is the first part of an England double header of match action at AMT Headingley Stadium, with kick-off of the Women’s match at 12pm, followed by England Men taking on Samoa in the second Test of their series.
Cunningham heads up our Saints group in Stuart Barrow’s squad, with Zoe Harris, Katie Mottershead, Erin Stott, Paige Travis and Vicky Whitfield all named in the 19-woman team. Stott is one of three potential debutantes in the side.
Former Saint Shona Hoyle is also selected and is set to earn her 20th England cap this weekend too.
Meanwhile, for Wales, the Saints have Dani McGifford in line to make her international debut, whilst Faye Gaskin is serving as the Welsh Assistant Coach too – read more on that by clicking here.

England Women Head Coach, Stuart Barrow, says: “It’s been incredibly difficult to decide who will face Wales this Saturday because we have so many talented young girls coming through, but I’m happy with the squad I’ve selected and really looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead.
“With three debutants coming into the squad, Saturday will be really special for us all and hopefully we can continue on this trajectory of new names breaking into the team much like we did when we faced France earlier this year.”
