Betfred Super League's annual summer party returns to Newcastle in 2025, with St.Helens taking on Leeds Rhinos at St James' Park!
The home of Newcastle United will play host to MAGIC WKND for the eighth time over the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of May 2025, with the Saints and the Rhinos closing out Saturday’s action on Saturday the 3rd in a blockbuster clash.
All twelve Super League teams converge at the same venue for two huge days of rugby league action. 2025 is the 18th MAGIC WKND and is the very first time that St.Helens and Leeds have ever met at the event.
Last season, the Red V secured three victories over the West Yorkshire side; twice in the league home and away, and an away victory in the Challenge Cup. As we head towards the new campaign, the Saints are currently on a five-match winning run against the Rhinos.
With Saints and Rhinos closing out the first day of action, it should be a cauldron-like atmosphere in Newcastle, as two of our sports’ biggest teams collide.

Saints supporters with be allocated in the Gallowgate End of St James’ Park.

Non-members will be able to get 40% discount on tickets if purchased before midnight on Monday, 2nd December 2024 – visit our ticketing website to get yours once they are on sale with the Club.
Please note that the Club will receive physical match tickets from Super League/RL Commercial at a later date. Once these physical tickets have arrived supporters who have purchased for MAGIC WKNDÂ through the Saints will be contacted.
