Taking place at community side Thatto Heath Crusaders, Saints TV gives you an inside look into one group of players' defensive focused session.
Battling the elements last week, Paul Wellens’ men were restricted by what they could do on the field with ice, frost and snow effecting the planned Pre-Season training schedule.
Luckily, local club Thatto Heath granted the Club the use of their Training Barn which has a 4G surface and was therefore fit to play on!
Paul Wellens and Lee Briers were alongside Eamon O’Carroll, who headed up the session, which featured a group of some of our Saints. Whilst another group of our men were hard at work in the gym back at our Cowley Training Facility.
With drills focused on tackle technique, and controlling the ruck, as well as plenty of fitness exercises, it was more solid preparation to get ready for the start of the 2025 Betfred Super League season.
