St.Helens Head Coach Paul Wellens has confirmed his 21-man squad ahead of this Saturday’s Betfred Super League Round One match against Salford Red Devils.

Kick-off at our home, the Totally Wicked Stadium, is scheduled for 5:30pm and a huge game day experience awaits the Saints faithful supporters as we welcome the team back to action for the new campaign!
The Club’s evening of live entertainment started from 4:15pm with live music, DJ sets, a spectacular light show, plus pyros and flames too – it promises to be an electric atmosphere when the players come out onto the field.

2025 Betfred Super League starts with a bang as the Red V host the Red Devils in Round 1, and matches between St.Helens and Salford in recent years have been enthralling affairs, so expect just the same as both teams look to start the new year off with a victory.
Our last meeting with the Red Devils was a dramatic clash too, going all the way to Golden Point Extra Time. Moses Mbye was the hero on the night slotting over a winning drop goal to give Saints the win.

Coach Wellens makes nine changes to the squad he declared for our victory over West Hull last weekend in the Betfred Challenge Cup, with senior Saints stepping into the squad, ready for the league campaign to commence.
New Saint Kyle Feldt could make his official Club debut on Saturday evening. Whilst fellow recruits Tristan Sailor and Lewis Murphy, both of whom scored last Saturday on their Saints debuts, could make their first competitive appearances at home in the Red V.
Young guns Noah Stephens and Harry Robertson hold onto their places in the 21-man team after impressing last week at the home of Hull KR and fresh off the news of their new four-year deals too.
