As we look ahead to our opening round of Super League 2025, we caught up with fan favourite James Bell ahead of our clash with the Salford Red Devils!
James said he’s looking forward to getting back to playing, stating it’s “been a long time coming.” He’s excited to be able to take to the field with our full complement available for selection.
Having played in our preseason friendly and our cup clash with West Hull, he’s relishing having been able to get his match fitness going early in the year.
On Salford, James said that regardless of the players they put on the field, with Salford having to field a reserves side, they always play an attractive, expansive style of rugby, and we’ll have to be ready for that.
This will be the first competitive game of 2025 at the Totally Wicked Stadium, and Belly will be looking forward to seeing the fans back at the ground and knows how excited they’ll all be to be back in there.
