Clark, Lees & Sironen pick up Penalty Points following Round 1

Three St.Helens players have been charged by the Match Review Panel following last Saturday evening's Betfred Super League Round 1 match against Salford Red Devils.

Daryl Clark and Curtis Sironen have both been issued 1 Penalty Point for Grade A ‘Late contact on kicker’ charges, meaning that the pair’s total points in the last twelve months is now registered at 1 point.

Matty Lees has been issued 3 Penalty Points for a Grade B ‘Head Contact’ charge from the opening round fixture, meaning his total points tally is now at 3 points. He is also issued a fine.

Charges are under the new on-field sentencing guidelines which have been introduced for 2025.
