This week for the Saints

This Sunday we are hosting a double header, but before that our Reserves play their final league match of the 2025 season.

St.Helens’ weekly fixture preview – This week for the Saints – is sponsored Joseph James Furniture Outlet.

Kicking off our week of action on Thursday night, our Saints Reserves are heading to West Yorkshire to face the Bradford Bulls.

Then on Sunday, the home of the Saints – the Totally Wicked Stadium – will have two matches for supporters to enjoy with both our Women’s and First Team taking on Huddersfield Giants.

Find out all you need to know for all three matches below.

THURSDAY

Reserves vs Bradford Bulls (A)

It will be the final match of the Reserves Championship season for Ian Talbot’s young Saints team, and they will be looking to end it on a high note.

Last time out a side with a handful of experienced Saints looking to step up the intensity of their injury returns joined a largely youthful Reserves team. The Red V trailed at half time 0-20, and despite a valiant fightback in the second period, they fell to a 22-30 defeat.

So far in 2025, our Reserves have won five and lost six, with this final match to go. A win over the Bulls, would make for a positive finish to the campaign.

  • Thursday, 14th July 2025
  • Kick off 7pm
  • Bartercard Odsal Stadium, BD6 1BS
  • Entry is £5 for adults, free for Under 16s

SATURDAY

Women vs Huddersfield Giants (H)

After almost a month without a Saints Women’s fixture, our Women’s team are back at home and back playing in the Betfred Women’s Super League!

Due to Warrington Wolves’ forfeit of the Round 9 clash which was set to be played on the 27th July, our last Saints Women’s match was on the 19th of July against Leigh. However, a number of our players have been playing in both the Women’s Origin and international fixtures over the last fortnight too.

With five games to go in the regular season campaign, Derek Hardman and Craig Richards’ team continue to hold an unbeaten run in the WSL, and the table is tight with our Red V sat in second place just one point behind current leaders Wigan.

The Saints Women will be the first match of an exciting double header, and they will be looking to make it a home and away league double over Huddersfield, after beating the Giants on the road by 0-36 back in May.

  • Sunday, 17th August 2025
  • Kick-off at 11:30am
  • Totally Wicked Stadium, WA9 3AL
  • Match tickets are available online at eticketing.co.uk/saintsrlfc

First Team vs Huddersfield Giants (H)

After getting an impressive away win over an in-form Wakefield Trinity last Friday night, Paul Wellens’ First Team Saints come home on Sunday afternoon.

Our S-Men are currently sat in fourth place as we head into the final six round of the regular season, with the Saints and Leeds Rhinos going back and forth in that spot in recent weeks. The hunt for the top six places is highly competitive, and every result has an affect to the competition.

Sunday will be the second meeting of the season with the Giants, and having already beaten the West Yorkshire team 4-46 away in May, St.Helens will want to do a double over Huddersfield and keep up the pace in the Play-Offs race.

  • Sunday, 17th August 2025
  • Kick-off at 2:30pm
  • Totally Wicked Stadium, WA9 3AL
  • Match tickets are available online at eticketing.co.uk/saintsrlfc
    • Tickets will grant entry to watch St.Helens Women vs Huddersfield Giants Women in the Betfred Women’s Super League, also played on Sunday at 11:30am

Match tickets and Memberships will permit entry to watch both matches on Sunday. Tickets are not available for supporters to attend just the Women’s match only.
