St.Helens are back at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday, 22nd August to take on Hull FC!
Paul Wellens’ Saints head into Round 23 of Betfred Super League in third place, with The Final Charge before the Play-Offs continuing to heat up. Both the Saints and Hull sit in the top six and are fighting to progress as high as they can in the table.
The Red V are on a three-match winning run, the latest of which came last Sunday afternoon over Huddersfield. Hull FC are in a good spirits too after securing an important win over Leigh on Saturday afternoon.
Friday night’s match will be the second meeting of the season between the Red V and the Black & Whites. The first went the way of the Saints back in July, with Jonny Lomax ensuring the away day victory late on, slotting over a one-point drop goal for a 6-13 result.
This upcoming fixture will also be the second leg of The Steve Prescott Cup, the annual contest between Saints and Hull which is played over the regular season meetings between the two sides. The team who has the highest aggregate score across the home and away fixtures winning the trophy.
There will be a curtain raiser match too, with the Saints Academy taking on Bradford Bulls at 5pm!
