After his first week with St.Helens, Shane Wright speaks to Saints TV about the move and his aims for the remainder of the year.
The back-rower shared his excitement to join the Red V from Salford Red Devils. Whilst there are not many matches remaining in the regular season, there are the Play-Offs to come, so he is getting ripped in and try to earn a place in the match day team.
Wright is in the back-end of his injury recovery, an injury which he actually sustained against St.Helens whilst playing for the Red Devils. Again, he states he wants to be a part of our Final Charge and just needs to tick some boxes before being declared 100% ready to go.
The Aussie has loved his time in the UK so far with the loud fans, and to now have the chance to represent the Saints fans he knows it’s a brilliant opportunity.
