Following our last home game the Liverpool John Lennon Airport Crossbar Challenge was completed for the fifth time!
This week’s edition of the Liverpool John Lennon Airport Crossbar Challenge was a little different, as we had a husband and wife team competing together for vouchers worth up to £1000 from Jet2. There would be five kicks each, and each successful kick was worth £100!
After a quick introduction to the Totally Wicked Stadium, Kieron and his wife Jenna stepped up to take their kicks, with Kieron going first. A speculative effort from him was followed by a wayward kick from Jenna. Then, with just his second attempt, he succeeded. Kieron’s kick flew through the air and struck the crossbar clean to earn £100 worth of vouchers.
The following kicks from Kieron had a few near misses, but unfortunately, he would remain with just the one. Jenna, on the other hand, would get progressively closer, but just couldn’t find the range, meaning they left the winners of a £100 Jet2 voucher to use on something of their choice.
