Three matches for our Saints sides this week, with the First Team, Women's Academy, and Women's team, all in action!

On Friday night, the First Team close out the regular Betfred Super League season against Castleford.
On Saturday morning, our Under 19s Women’s team finish their season against Huddersfield Giants.
Then on Sunday, a big clash awaits as the Saints Women host York Valkyrie for a spot in the Betfred Women’s Super League Grand Final!

First Team vs Castleford Tigers (H)
Round 27 of the regular Betfred Super League sees the Tigers come to town.
The Final Charge reaches its end with the Play-Offs to begin next week, and the Saints know that they will finish in fifth place and will need to go on the road twice if they are to reach Old Trafford and the Grand Final.
Paul Wellens’ men are looking to get back to winning ways and get a third win over Castleford this season after victories at The Onebore Stadium in February, and at the Totally Wicked Stadium in August.
This match is also our annual Tribute Game where we will celebrate the lives of those we have lost in the last year.
Following full time, we encourage supporters to stick around to share a moment with our departing Saints, and for the annual team and staff photo in front of the West Stand.

Women’s Academy vs Huddersfield Giants (H)
This Round 9 match is rearranged from earlier in the season, and will be the final match of the Women’s Under 19s first competitive season.
Last Saturday afternoon our young Saints side went to West Yorkshire and earned their fourth victory of the season over Featherstone Rovers, winning 6-48.
Graham Cranny’s squad know a tough test awaits them at Thatto Heath though, with Huddersfield earning some big wins during the year.

Women vs York Valkyrie (Semi-Final)
The Saints Women welcome York back to the Totally Wicked Stadium for a fourth meeting of the 2025 season. Our Saints finished the regular season just a single point behind Wigan, falling just short of retaining the League Leaders’ Shield.
Lindsay Anfield will have her troops fired up for this one, looking to get a bit of revenge after losing out in the Women’s Challenge Cup Semi-Final for a third successive season, as well as home and away league losses to the Red V.
Craig Richards and Derek Hardman’s Saints are out to make it four wins from four, but know that the reigning WSL champions will be desperate to keep up their bid of retaining the trophy.
Matches between the Saints and the Valkyrie are full-blooded, top quality clashes as both look to get the better of the other. With a place in the Grand Final up for grabs, supporters can expect another thrilling contest.
