St.Helens’ #13 Morgan Knowles has been named in the 2025 Betfred Super League Dream Team following the end of the regular season.
The 2025 Dream Team celebrates the 30th anniversary of the competition’s annual ‘All-Star’ or ‘Best Of’ team selection. The Dream Team consists of the most impressive players in their respective positions from across the Super League season each year.
Selection is determined by votes made by the Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel panellists.
Morgan Knowles has been named as the 2025 Dream Team loose forward after an outstanding campaign with the Saints. Featuring in 26 matches, he has enjoyed a career-best try-scoring season with eight scores, but his tenacious attitude and incredible work rate has seen him deservedly earn plaudits this season.
It caps off a memorable week for the Cumbrian, who on Monday earned four awards at the Saints’ End of Season Awards, and then played his final home match in the Red V on Friday night at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
Morgan Knowles’ inclusion in the 2025 Dream Team is his fifth appearance in the ‘Best Of’ selection, following up on being named in the 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 teams. It also takes St.Helens’ club appearances in the Dream Team to 77 across 30 selections over the years.
A move to NRL club the Dolphins awaits in 2026, but Knowles has been determined to finish his time with St.Helens in the best possible manner.
This Saturday evening, the Saints travel to Leeds to take on the Rhinos in an Eliminator Play-Off, and the winner will then be just 80 minutes away from the Grand Final at Old Trafford.

“The countdown to Old Trafford will continue with announcements of shortlists for the major individual awards to be handed out days before the 2025 Betfred Super League champions are crowned.”
