St.Helens head to AMT Headingley on Saturday, 27th September to take on Leeds Rhinos in an Eliminator Play-Off! Kick-off in West Yorkshire is scheduled for 8pm.
It’s knockout rugby league: win, your season continues with the Semi-Finals; lose, and your campaign comes to an end. With Old Trafford in sight for both the Red V and the Rhinos, it promises to be an electric atmosphere on Saturday night.
This will be the Saints and Rhinos’ fifth meeting of the season, with the score currently 3-1 in favour of Paul Wellens’ men.
The first clash between the two clubs came in March in the Challenge Cup, which the Saints won 22-14 to progress in the competition to the next stage. Brad Arthur’s Rhinos hit back in Newcastle, winning 17-4 at Magic Weekend in May.
The regular home and away league fixtures both went Saints’ way: first an 18-4 victory at the Totally Wicked Stadium, then an unforgettable defensive display in boiling-hot conditions at Headingley secured a 6-0 triumph.
Leeds finished the regular Betfred Super League season in fourth place, earning a first home Play-Off tie since 2017 – the year they last lifted the Super League Grand Final trophy.
St.Helens know a tough road to the big dance awaits, but Paul Wellens and his team are insistent that they are ready and raring for the challenge. It starts this Saturday, against the Rhinos.

Tickets will be come off sale at 5pm on Friday, 26th September. Any uncollected tickets once the sales period has stopped will be transferred to the AMT Headingley Stadium Ticket Office for collection on game day.
