As part of the fundraising efforts for our two young Women's Academy Saints and their Female Player Exchange with Redcliffe Dolphins, we are hosting a Quiz Night on Friday, 7th November 2025!
Held in The PSD 1873 Lounge, this Quiz Night will also be a Meet & Greet with members of the St.Helens Women’s First Team, with Stand Up Bingo and Raffles on the night, and a Q&A too, all in support of the Female Player Exchange.
St.Helens Women’s Academy talents Mia Drescher and Caitlin Maylor are our two players who will be heading Down Under in November to experience Rugby League in Australia with Redcliffe Dolphins, in the Women’s Under-19s Queensland competition.
The pair will return to the UK and the Saints in April 2026 following the conclusion of the competition. It will effectively be a high-level pre-season for our players, and upon their return in April, the 2026 Betfred Women’s Super League will be in its early stages.
Caitlin & Mia will get to experience pre-season training with Redcliffe, the trials, or friendly fixtures, and then they can push for selection in the Queensland competition. They have been raising funds to assist their experience in Australia, and this Quiz Night is an exciting event which should be a boost to their efforts.
