St.Helens Reserves Head Coach Ian Talbot has named a 22-man squad that will take on Swinton Lions this Saturday, 10th January 2026, in a Pre-Season Friendly.
The match takes place at Heywood Road in Sale, Greater Manchester, and kicks off at 2pm.
Swinton will begin their 2026 Betfred Championship season eight days after this fixture at home to Rochdale Hornets. Head Coach of the Lions, Paul Wood, has stated that he views this game as a great test for his side ahead of their competitive start of the season.
St.Helens’ competitive season will start in the Third Round of the Betfred Challenge Cup over the weekend of the 6th to 8th of February 2025, with that round seeded to guarantee each Super League club an away fixture to one of the victorious teams from the Second Round.
